Just a few moments ago, Hijikata Toshirou had been on his desk, doing his work, trying to ignore the rest of the ship and the existence of the world in favour of being in his own corner and waiting for his injuries to get better--

--and then of course, Sogou and his fucking large gun decided to make their entrance into this room.

The boatswain looked up from over his desk, having gone underneath it when the explosion happened (which was hard, considering one of his arm was currently binded). He looked right at the brat, scowl on his face before the usual shouting started to occur.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!"

Sougo wore a sinister grin as he looked down on Hijikata. This was a rare chance, to see him cowering under his desk.

"I was just waking you up, Hijikata-san," he greeted as he hid his bazooka, too amused to see the officer hiding like a little girl.

[mayovice]

Mind you, Hijikata was only cowering down there because he had been completely taken by surprise - usually he'd have somewhat sensed the gunner making his move, but this time he was far too distracted by everything else to actually pay attention to his other senses and instincts.

"Its eleven in the morning," the boatswain seethed as he clambered up to sit properly on his chair again after that spectacle. "Of course I'm awake, you little shit."

"But you weren't answering," Sougo uttered, trying to hide his cheeky excited grin behind his lips. He had a little surprise for Hijikata. Other than the little explosion.

[sadistofficer]

"It's tough enough to scoop your hard crap." A statement of a fact.

Cue epic twitching and the throbbing of a familiar vein with that comment.

"Say that again and you'll wish you were dead after I'm through with you."

Okay, that was it. Hijikata immediately grabbed his blade and got up from his seat, drawing it out as he directed it towards the gunner with a death glare fixed onto him.
