(
I could swear there is someone, somewhere, watching me )
He halted at an intersection, desperate to cover his back, and whirled, trying to see all four directions at once and failing. Which way? Which way were they so he could take them out? "Them" was still only a vage construct in his mind, but whichever way they went he was sure to encounter them and then... his cosmos surged with panic and anticipation. Let them try to get him.

So far his journey upwards had been quiet. An intersection with a jittery and panic-stricken Jabu was going to change that.

She had taken one look at Jabu and bolted; a wise move, considering the first mate’s current state --it had given her a head start when he turned to chase her down. She could hear the thud of his armored boots in the hallway behind her, and quickened her pace. Meg had kept her lead by taking as many corners as she could, but he was rapidly catching up to her.
“Get away from me!” she gasped, too panicked to think straight and save her breath for running. She tore around a corner, sandals flapping against the wooden floor, hair fanning out behind her as she spotted Kamina. Meg’s eyes went even wider, and she skidded to a halt, caught between the two men. Shrinking back, she glanced over her shoulder at Jabu, who was rapidly closing in, and shrieked.
T-t-t-trapped. The one word echoed in her head. She was trapped. She couldn’t run anymore. Trapped on a ship that was dangling above the edge of the continent--Overcome by her fear of Jabu and Kamina and her fear of the great ( ... )

He was focused on Meg now, she being the closer of the two targets. He'd gotten one hell of a dose of the fear gas, having bent down to pick up the leaking container in the hangar - he was so far gone that Meg's panic registered only as proof that he could take her in a fight, that he was frightening her into backing down. She was between him and Kamina, which meant that she had to go down first.
"STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!" he roared, unheeding of the fact that he was the one approaching her. He increased his pace as he drew closer, gathering his cosmos around him for a punch to send her through the corridor wall.

Strategy wasn't Jabu's strong point even when he wasn't panicked, but his mind whirled as he tried to think of a plan. He was stuck in one place unless he wanted to risk an injury that could prevent him taking out all of them before he succumbed to blood loss. So he had to get them all close to him so he could punch them all at once before they had a chance to gang up on him.
"Come and get me!" he shouted at Quatre. "You gonna stand there and wait for me to take all of you out? Come here and fight me like a man!"

.....
Alive. How was she alive?
But she was, somehow. Somehow, Jabu had missed. But she wasn't going to be that lucky again. She scrambled across the hall, looking from Kamina to Quatre (a gun, he was pointing a gun at her, he was going to kill her, she was going to die!) and back to Jabu. She looked like she was trying to sink into the floor. "Stay back," she gasped, "or I swear, I'll --!"
She didn't know what she was going to do, but it probably entailed running away.

Heh, a roaring unicorn. Yuri shook his head; it wasn't the time for that sort of thing, entertaining though it usually was to tease Jabu. He had a crew to protect.
Dashing into the combat zone, Yuri took a split second to asses the situation. Quatre had Jabu's attention, though the first mate was frighteningly close to a huddled person that he thought was Meg.
He ran towards Jabu on the tail end of his challenge and shouted back. "Well, since you asked so nicely-!" Almost effortlessly, Yuri swung his axe for a crushing blow to the first mate's plated head.

He slammed into his commanding officer's back, hoping to throw off his punch and give Yuri time to dodge. Kamina didn't expect his tackle to do much damage because of the thick armor, but since he was already winded and confused from his knock upside the head, he figured it had to do something.

Which was definitely a good thing, he thought. Yuri was only just able to catch himself in a low crouch - had he taken a straight punch, he probably would have toppled completely.
He jumped back to his feet, then dove back at Jabu again, some wordless shout on his lips, and feigned to the right, away from the corner he'd been backed into. As he moved, Yuri caught sight of Meg against the wall and frowned. Why the hell was she still there? "Someone get her out of here!" he yelled at no one in particular.

His finger moved away from the trigger and rested against the guard, but otherwise his face remained the same. He scowled, and said, "If you want me, you'll have to catch me, first!"
Quatre hoped that the other two men would catch on.

.....but Kamina wasn't blocking her way down the corridor anymore. It registered in her mind as an escape route. Still crawling on the deck, she scrambled away, down the corridor, glancing over her shoulder to make sure they weren't following her.
Understandably, she tripped over her dress. It wasn't made for crawling in, and she was paying more attention to the chaos behind her than her own feet. She fell in a tangled mess of limbs and dress, skidding painfully to a halt with a yelp. Her first assumption was that one of them had caught up to her, so she shouted, "No -- stay away!"
She curled up again, into as small a target as possible.

Clearly, he was going to have to do something about everyone nearby at once. Unicorn Lightning Kick would work against one at a time - so that meant he had to get sufficient distance between himself and the others so he could pick a target.
He'd already spent too much time planning an attack. Better take out the enemy behind him first. Jabu found his balance, forced himself to gather his cosmos, and threw a spinning kick at Kamina, planning to throw him clear down the corridor if he had to.

Still, if he moved fast, he could probably get a good shot at Jabu. While the first mate was still distracted, Yuri lunged forward and swung a hard blow towards Jabu's back with the blunt end of his axe.
