(
I could swear there is someone, somewhere, watching me )
The unicorn armor's helmet was strong, but saints didn't often use weapons, and it had not been designed to survive the force of a battleaxe to the skull. Upon contact, the metal crumpled, the horn shattered, and Jabu hit the wall with a thud to shake the rafters before crumpling onto the floor like a sack of bricks. It was a testament both to his stamina and the thickness of his skull that he managed to stagger to his feet with fists raised and round on Yuri, gathering his scattered cosmos for a counterattack.
The corridor was narrow enough that he didn't really have to cover any distance to throw a punch, and so he was able to take an armored swing at Yuri's face the instant after he'd regained his balance. So his plan to get them all close before he punched wasn't going to work after all. Well, then, they'd just have to go down one at a time.

He slammed into his commanding officer's back, hoping to throw off his punch and give Yuri time to dodge. Kamina didn't expect his tackle to do much damage because of the thick armor, but since he was already winded and confused from his knock upside the head, he figured it had to do something.

Which was definitely a good thing, he thought. Yuri was only just able to catch himself in a low crouch - had he taken a straight punch, he probably would have toppled completely.
He jumped back to his feet, then dove back at Jabu again, some wordless shout on his lips, and feigned to the right, away from the corner he'd been backed into. As he moved, Yuri caught sight of Meg against the wall and frowned. Why the hell was she still there? "Someone get her out of here!" he yelled at no one in particular.

His finger moved away from the trigger and rested against the guard, but otherwise his face remained the same. He scowled, and said, "If you want me, you'll have to catch me, first!"
Quatre hoped that the other two men would catch on.

.....but Kamina wasn't blocking her way down the corridor anymore. It registered in her mind as an escape route. Still crawling on the deck, she scrambled away, down the corridor, glancing over her shoulder to make sure they weren't following her.
Understandably, she tripped over her dress. It wasn't made for crawling in, and she was paying more attention to the chaos behind her than her own feet. She fell in a tangled mess of limbs and dress, skidding painfully to a halt with a yelp. Her first assumption was that one of them had caught up to her, so she shouted, "No -- stay away!"
She curled up again, into as small a target as possible.

Clearly, he was going to have to do something about everyone nearby at once. Unicorn Lightning Kick would work against one at a time - so that meant he had to get sufficient distance between himself and the others so he could pick a target.
He'd already spent too much time planning an attack. Better take out the enemy behind him first. Jabu found his balance, forced himself to gather his cosmos, and threw a spinning kick at Kamina, planning to throw him clear down the corridor if he had to.

Still, if he moved fast, he could probably get a good shot at Jabu. While the first mate was still distracted, Yuri lunged forward and swung a hard blow towards Jabu's back with the blunt end of his axe.

"Yuri!" he shouted, "Duck!"
As soon as he yelled out his warning, Quatre waited for Yuri to get down and shot at Jabu once more.
