Ahahaha, poking the grump again. :3icaruschmicarusMarch 19 2009, 04:30:33 UTC
It was almost odd, how restless he was these days. Hibari made his way through the ship, wandering through the corridors, observing, in his own quiet way, what everyone else was up to without actually participating in any of it. He needed a walk, he figured. The hangar deck was starting to look crowded with all of the new faces.
At the moment, he found himself at the balcony again, with a very familiar figure in the distance - that white-haired grump of a kid, and he seemed to be practicing with a sword.
lol poke away =Plilshiro_kunMarch 19 2009, 05:32:57 UTC
Just how many people were going to bug him today? Pausing in the middle of the form he turned towards the speaker and groaned. Not this guy again. Narrowing his eyes at the other man Toshirou felt like hurling the bokken at taller man's head.
"I'll be fine. I'm not a damn child, alright." It wasn't like he was worried about hurting himself, the worst he could get from this thing was a splinter anyway.
"You look and carry yourself like one, therefore, you are."
Even as he insulted the younger man, however, Hibari was already studying the way that the former carried himself. Certainly not a novice, this one. Of course, to conclude that he was possibly worth sparring with might have been another matter altogther.
"Bastard." Toshirou growled. He absolutely hated anyone insuiating that he was a child. Just because everyone was so much taller than him everyone thought he was a kid. It pissed him off.
Barely keeping his temper in check he glared at the taller man. "I strongly suggest you leave me alone." He was not in the best of moods and this guy was making things worse. Beating the crap out of him probably wouldn't make him feel any better but it might knock that bastards smug look off his face.
What a brat. I LIKE HIM ALREADY.icaruschmicarusMarch 19 2009, 07:13:48 UTC
And so easily provoked. He'd call it 'cute', for the lack of a better term, but Hibari was generally unimpressed by brats with an attitude problem. (His master, had he been around, would have told him that it was because he had BEEN a brat of that type.)
"How about making me leave you alone? If you can fight at all, anyway."
No wonder he disliked this guy. He reminded him of Ichimaru, all the more reason to hit him. "Oh I can fight. What do you want, live steel?" It wouldn't matter to him if he got cut fighting this guy.
He suddenly remembered why he bothered carrying his weapons on his person at all times; it wasn't just because of his paranoia, or his quirky need to be ready. Still, a fight with an uninteresting person who was so easily provoked couldn't have been worth it. Hibari made sure to say as much out loud, or at least say something like it, in the next moment.
"You must not value your life very much if you bite at everyone like this."
This man....what was his name again? Hiba-something? Had the same condescending way of talking to him as Gin. Hell everything about this guy reminded him of Ichimaru, except for the hair color it almost could be him. Perhaps he should have made a dummy of the grinning bastard and whacked at it for a few hours. That actually didn't sound like a bad idea.
One corner of Toshirou's mouth tugged up in what could almost be called a smirk. "What do you care if I value my life or not?" He really wanted to hit this guy, and with no one else around to stop him or tell him to control his temper he figured he might as well do it.
BUT Y SO MANY GIN COMPARISONS? I'M SO MUCH NICER, TOSHI!icaruschmicarusMarch 20 2009, 02:45:39 UTC
"I don't."
And his words were brutally honest. Any trace of amusement disappeared as Hibari folded his arms over his chest and regarded the boy in front of him with a measuring look.
"Lashing out at every little thing will only waste your energy. Didn't anyone ever teach you that?"
Prove it! =Plilshiro_kunMarch 20 2009, 03:33:42 UTC
He wasn't at all surprised by the other man's answer. Not that it would have made any difference if the man did care. Actually people had been trying to beat that into his head for years not to lash out at people over every little offense. He couldn't stop himself from getting riled up about it though, it was just his nature.
"So what if they have? I've grown tired of people constantly taking it upon themselves to lecture me."
At the moment, he found himself at the balcony again, with a very familiar figure in the distance - that white-haired grump of a kid, and he seemed to be practicing with a sword.
...Interesting.
"Don't hurt yourself with that."

"So prove to them that you don't need their guidance."

"Why don't you just shut up and leave me alone."

"Where I come from, people learn to take advice seriously. Since it helps."
The pilot turned away and began to walk off.
"Still, if you're that eager to hurt yourself, then I'll leave you to it."
