Content: Komachi's having a problem with nightmares and can't sleep. Gorobei is the go-to guy.
Setting: Gorobei's bedroom
Time: Middle of the night.
Warnings: Miserable loli? And Gorobei is a warning all by himself
Komachi woke with a muffled scream, sitting bolt upright in bed and clutching her blankets around her. She looked around the room, panicked and wide-eyed, as if expecting something to leap out of the shadows at her.
She sat there for several minutes more, pulling her pillow around to hug close, before the lurking shadows were too much for her and she jumped out of bed and headed for the door, dragging her blanket with her. With a last quick look around the room, she jumped outside and shut the door as quickly as she could without slamming it and waking anyone up: if there was something - someone - in there, that should trap them there, she thought.
Wrapping the blanket around her shoulders, she padded softly down the corridor, shivering both from fear and from the cold of the night.
The route to Gorobei's room was one she knew well - perhaps better than she'd like, since this was not the first time in the days since Long Night that she'd ended up making her way here after a nightmare woke her.
She raised a hand and knocked tentatively on the door, then pushed it slowly open and shuffled inside. "G-Gorobei? Are you awake?"
