Not many people knew that the Way had a small armory. That was because it was eternally locked, only the highest-ranking officers having a copy of the keys needed to both get inside and open the barrels and cases of weaponry. All of the weapons were old, used, and dusty, only obtained and hidden away in the first place as a last resort should the crew ever be in enough trouble that they needed to fight. So far, a few weapons had been loaned out, but nothing had ever happened that was so bad they needed to pass out the entire stash.
So, everything was quiet as Vash opened a case containing a sawed-off shotgun, flipping it open to double-check that it wasn't loaded.
He didn't really want to have to even carry the thing around, but a shotgun was traditional in these types of marriages! Just having it ought to be enough for this situation. Vash still wished that he could've found a 'best man' to hold the shotgun for him, but even in his panic he realized that there weren't too many people on the ship that would've volunteered for it. Then again, he doubted anyone else know about... about...
Vash clenched the shotgun tightly for a moment, before slipping it under his coat. It left a slight lump, but it wasn't too noticeable unless you were looking for it. It would work out well enough for finding those two.
He stepped out of the armory then, locking the door behind him before striding purposely towards the infirmary. Hana would be the easiest one to round up, so Vash was going to look for him first.
