The commotion up on deck was enough to rouse the curiosity of one small Sub-Lieutenant, and led her up top to investigate with a furrowed brow and butterflies in her stomach. If there had been an announcement of a public punishment, Sakura hadn't received it, nor heard it, but word of mouth traveled faster than what people gave it credit for, so she had a vague idea of what was going on.
Being a tad too short to be able to view the proceedings -- all she could hear right now were voices, and she was sure she recognized the Admiral's -- the brunette balanced herself on her tippy-toes in an attempt to peer over some shoulders, but found her effort to be in vain.
Sakura clasped shaking hands to her chest and breathed a shuddery exhale. She did not want to witness the punishment. In fact, she would avoid that outcome at all cost. But if she could have some information on what was happening, she could at least be mildly satisfied. It would quell the nausea stirring in her gut over what she figured was going to transpire in the next hour -- or possibly more.
Inwardly, the green-eyed girl prayed that too much harm wouldn't be inflicted on this crew member. No matter what his crime, the young Sakura didn't feel that split blood would do any justice, or right any wrongs.
Violence never solved any problems.
