Agatha had been right--Rikku did bring her wrenches. And screwdrivers. And nifty drill thing. And anything she thought would be helpful.

Hobbling up onto the stage, Rikku looked around for the cocktiel-headed redhead. "Agatha?"

She wasn't the only one with tools; a certain pink rabbit-thing had her hammer and toolbox with her already. This was the nearest problem relevant to her job, after all, since she knew nothing about electrical wires or captured lightning.

"Oh," Milk announced, waving a little and trying to keep her eyes from closing. "Hi ~miru."

"Hello, Rikku!", Agatha called over her shoulder, "And whoever is with you, hullo as well!"

Agatha straightened suddenly and whipped around towards Rikku, invading the other girl's personal space in her quest for answers. "Did you bring your tools, perchance?" She turned rapidly towards the...pink thing (rather odd looking but NO MATTER - she had a toolbox) and dropped a bit down to her level. "What's your name? What do you know about mechanics?"

[ooc: in case you can't see it, Agatha is totally Sparky now. There is special font~]

Whoa, Agatha was really excited to see them! Or maybe it was their tools. Whatever.

"Yep, brought 'em all!" Rikku held out the two toolboxes she carried.

Rhyme wasn't certain about the choice of location, but being out in the open and away from anything that might get set on fire seemed like a good idea. She really hoped that Yuna would be able to to teach her how to heal better.

Ness was great, but aside from being really sad right now, he wasn't quite the same sort of magic as her, so it made it difficult.

She stood on the top deck near the stage where she could see Agatha working, humming to herself and waiting for Yuna.

"Rhyme!" Yuna called over from the distance waving her hand over at the young girl near the stage. She decided it would be best for the two of them to practice their magic here rather than in the boring confines of a solitary room. She knew that the blond has a knack for magic and was more than thrilled to act the role of teacher today and show her a few basic spells. Considering that Yuna spent a majority of her life as a priestess before she came a gunner, the brunette still has a vast knowledge of the healing arts.

"Sorry that I am late." She quickly said as she jogged over towards Rhyme. Today was rather nice out, the breeze was cool and the morning sun shined brightly this morning. It was pleasant day out, far too perfect to spend it indoors within the lower levels of the ship.

"Ready to have some fun today?" Yuan said with a happy smile. "You really impressed me a few days ago, you certainly a good healer."

"Yuna! Hi!" Rhyme waved back immediately and waiting for Yuna to get there. The compliment made her very happy. "It was nothing. I just worked very hard."

It had been a very long time since she'd have someone to talk about magic like this with. Medusa didn't really count because ... Rhyme still wasn't sure if she trusted her.

"I'm ready to have fun and work hard!" She was nearly bouncing on her feet. "What do we do first?"

Agatha picked up on Yuna and Rhyme's conversation, and zipped over their way. "You're mages?" she asked, "Of what sort?" She rather hoped they were of the kinetic variety - that would be practical and fascinating.

[ooc: No, the font should be this crazy pseudo gothic thing, but apparently LJ hates non-standard fonts ;^;. If you can't see it, assume it looks very Sparky.]

Sophie, in an effort to get out of her room, now that she wasn't feeling quite so tired and ill anymore, had made her way to her usual corner of the backstage. Where usually she'd be repairing costumes at the last minute, she sat, shawl wrapped around her, eager to watch the enthusiastic new girl at work on the stage's mechanisms, even if she didn't quite know what was going on herself.

At least it was something to do, she thought, watching the bars Agatha had ripped out hap-hazardly going sailing away.

Oftentimes when there was no cooking to be done Wolf would spend his time lurking around and watching people work. Usually he was so quiet that they never even knew he was there. Sure, it was a little creepy but he was bored and had been learning a lot about the various duties aboard a ship.

He'd been sitting backstage in the shadows for quite some time now when a very familiar scent wafted into the area. And, sure enough, Sophie soon appeared. Wolf watched her for nearly a minute before moving forward noiselessly.

Coming up from behind, he thought gleefully at how loudly she'd probably scream. What a way to make your presence known. It was a bit mean to scare her like that but he was bored and she was the closest person around. And if anyone would forgive him for being a playful wolf, it was Sophie.

Leaning in slowly, he growled right next to her ear, grabbing her upper arms to keep her from hitting him on instinct.

[ooc: I'd been meaning to put Wolf into this log since it started but was debating on where to put him.]

Sophie, as he had expected, gave a shriek, nearly leaping out of her skin. Trying to flail her arms at the unexpected presence, she found them pinned, leading to her simply squirming like a caught fish.

After letting off a few choice curses she'd learned from Lettie ages ago, she was taking a breath to tell her assailant off when she realized who it might be.

"Wolf?!" She looked back over her shoulder at him, finally.

Wolf was grinning, naturally, and even chuckled a bit at her cursing. "Sorry! Sorry! I couldn't help myself." He let go of her arms and came to squat beside her. "This is my, er- can't-help-but-scare-people time of the month. Very hard to resist the temptation." He was making things up now, to make Sophie laugh mostly, but also to charm her into forgetting about how annoyed she might be with him.
