Characters: Hijikata ToshiZOU, the 4423 crew.
Content: Hijikata attempts to rest and recuperate in a nice, quiet, unmolested fashion. The crew won't let that happen, will they?
Setting: Hijikata's room.
Time: During the stay in the Boston Market, after Isako's return.
Warnings: Hijikata--smoking, probable references to booze, ladies, and traps, threats of violence, possible actual violence, swearing. Everyone else--who knows?
Being injured, Hijikata had swiftly come to decide, was really terribly boring.
Not that he'd ever say so--complaining about boredom just made people sound like reckless, eager, obnoxious children--but when dizziness kept him from getting up and moving about or focusing on his work, there really wasn't all that much to occupy him. It was frustrating, and he wanted it to be over. He didn't need a forced break from his work, or people coddling him, or anything like that.
But there was nothing for it. He'd just have to rest up, and hope he'd be well enough to get back to his usual schedule soon.
