Spider infestation a go-go: Victoria II edition [OPEN]
Characters: The crew of the Victoria II
Content: The crew deals with the spider infestation.
Setting: The Victoria II
Time: After Ffamran's post

Note: There are three different nests, which will be dealt with in their own respective threads.
By this point, the mechanicanical spiders were almost everwhere, some searching for even the tiniest scraps of metal to take back to their nests and some trying to drag large, heavy metallic objects and failing almost comically. Said nests were scattered at various points throughout the ship, with three main nests and a few tiny, fledgling nests forming.
One nest-the one in the engine room-was currently being dealt with, although the fact that a huge version of the small spiders was dangerously near completion. It looked almost exactly like the small ones other than the fact that it was about eight feet tall. It was already making slight jerky movements, and would start moving more competently any second. The other two, located in the showers and the vents respectively, were still going strong. The small spiders were multiplying at an alarming rate, and any large piece of metal that they could manage to bring in was being used to create another giant spider. The one in the shower was only half-formed, but looked a bit like a giant crab. It was surrounded by highly aggressive smaller spiders certain to attack anyone unlucky enough to try and take a shower before the crab's completion.
The giant spider-no, mechanical creature that was forming in the vents wasn't anywhere near being completed, but the fact that it was in a safe, out of the way place meant that it had a fairly good chance of doing so. From the little that was done, it resembled a giant centipede.
