Heihachi had said something about Gorobei staying back, getting some sleep, and maybe going back to a bar and getting some food. Gorobei was pretty sure Heihachi had told him that knowing the older samurai would never listen, so he decided to follow his shorter friend aboard the the Silvana. Like everything else he'd seen in Melior, the Silvana was interesting and was begging for him to come aboard and make a ruckus.
Strolling around with two swords by his side, one his and the other Heihachi's, Gorobei slowly and inconspicuously made his way aboard the Silvana. He knew next to nothing about the ship's history, and his curiosity levels were shooting through the roof as soon as his foot hit the top deck. His eyes were on everything. Everything that was decorated in some pattern he was unused to he had to touch.
This was probably not the best way to go about his "Make Sure Heihachi Doesn't Kill Himself or Anyone Else" plan. He was supposed to be keeping his attention fully focused on finding clues as to Heihachi's whereabouts, but - Oh! That doorknob was blue! There weren't any blue doorknobs in Vohemar, were there? Maybe he should start a shop...
No time for job searching, Gorobei! he mentally berated himself. He probably should have done a bit more exploring before sending himself off on a mission.
