Characters: Heihachi Hayashida and Jushirou Ukitake
Content: Heihachi has some words to say to Jushirou on Hitsugaya's behalf, and wants to get some answers from the man who betrayed their ship.
Setting: Jushirou's cabin - Silvana
Time: Early Afternoon.
Warnings: Nothing I can think of besides an uncharacteristically snarky Heihachi.
Heihachi had been very aware of the pulse of his heartbeat ever since he'd stood at the base of the Silvana and looked up at it from the docks. So this was the ship that had planted a traitor in their midst. This was the infamous "Kill-em-all" Silvana, and this was Toshirou's new home. That last was the only reason he was managing to exercise any restraint whatsoever.
Out of sight was out of mind. Heihachi didn't tend to dwell on things that made him angry or upset because he never saw the point, but knowing that he was going to face Jushirou again had reminded him of that sharp, bitter taste of betrayal. Adrenaline had brought the world into sharp, almost painful focus, and he knew very well the rage and the lack of control that came with it.
Wisely, he'd chosen to leave his sword with Gorobei.
One very dubious crew member had lead him to Jushirou's door, and then hastily departed when he'd caught sight of the expression on Heihachi's face. Firmly reminding himself that he was here to talk, not to judge or accuse or worst of all fight, the mechanic took a moment to compose himself before knocking on the door.
