Carefully trotting into the infirmary on three paws, he sat up on his hind paws and looked around for one of the doctors. And realsed belatedly that he didn't know who the doctors were. "Are there any doctors in?"

Garfield poked his head in after Bidoof, himself scanning the area to see if the doctors were in - though he supposed they were busy with all that they had to do. "I guess there should be..." the tabby commented as he look around the ward. "I mean, there are patients so I suppose the doctor must be attending to them."

"Good afternoon," he said smoothly, "What seems to be the problem?" A year ago, Jade would likely have registered some surprise at seeing non-humans wandering about as part of the ship, but times had changed and he was used to (if not entirely familiar with) seeing to such crew members.

He held up his hurt paw, where it was bent at a funny angle. "I wasn't looking where I was going and got stepped on, Mr Doctor. Could you make it better, please?"

"And if you'rrrre wonderrrring who stepped on it," Garfield added after Bidoof had spoken, "You can ask Mrrrr. Edgeworth about it. Didn't even apologize to him as well, he didn't. Utterrrrly disappointing, I say. No rrrrespect."

He bent down to examine the first animal's paw, and quirked a brow at the second's comment. "I'm sure the Commander was simply...preoccupied." Jade made note to have a small chat with the first mate about watching his step - stomping on the crew created far too much work for the medical staff, after all~
Jade stood up and adjusted his glasses habitually. "Well, I'm fairly sure your paw isn't broken, though it's likely fractured. I can't know for sure without an x-ray scan."

He perked up when Dr. Curtiss started talking about x-rays. Waving his uninjured front paw, he said cheerfully, "O-Ooh, I've never had an x-ray scan before. What do they do?"
