Rikku had wanted to get pity money, being in a wheelchair, but she realized that just being in the wheelchair at the fair would probably boost income a bit. So she was going to call people's attention to Riku, doing...whatever he did.

"Okay, what are you doing again?" asked the blonde as she wheeled herself over to Riku, Turtle in her lap.

Riku spread out the blanket from his bed on the uneven paving stones in the square to add a bit of padding to his gloved fingers, smoothing out the creases carefully, checking for any sign of a stone that might throw him off. Satisfied after a moment, he turned to the blond, still on his hands and knees. "I'm going to do some acrobatic stunts..." getting to his knees, he bent his spine until there were audible pops. "I hope I'm still in the right shape. It's been awhile..>"

"Well, if all else fails, you can do sword tricks, right?" Rikku asked, getting as close to the blanket that she could before sliding out and scooting over to Riku.

"Yeah, but not anything really exciting like dervishing or sword-swallowing." He replied, pulling her in to kiss her on the cheek affectionately.

"Hey, people can try to disarm you. They do, they win a prize or something." Rikku nodded towards the bag of 'things of use from Rikku's room' she'd brought, just for that purpose. "But acrobatics are good." She smiled as Riku kissed her. "I wish my legs were better, then I could show off too."

"Psh, then no one would win anything and want to try. What's the point?"
He smile a bit sadly at her admission. "Soon, Rikku, but don't rush it."

Rikku sighed. "I know, I know. The doctors said I'll be better before the first snow, of course I have no idea what the snow schedule is here in Shasta so..." She shrugged. "I'll just ask Ne-I mean Hana every once in a while." It was still depressing to think that no one knew where Ness had gone.

Yes, we are very fortunate to be alive and well today considering the events that soon followed after we crash in the desert…
However, we shall persevere regardless of out aliments and wounds now.

No destination in mind? Then perhaps I should suggest the city of Licere to be our next stop. Licere is a large and bustling metropolis with fascinating architecture and incredibly rich in entertainment. Wandering aimlessly through the fair here in Shashta, Yuna couldn't help but try and catch a glimpse of Rikku's new boyfriend. She stood in the distance observing the two lovebirds with a little smile on her face. She figured that the silver hair boy had to be 'Riku', the guy Rikku mentioned briefly when the two of them went out for lunch with Haine the other day. Judging by how loving Rikku's smile was to the silver hair teen, it seems that Yuna was right.

"Hehe! They look so cute." Yuna giggled as she slowly approached the pair, dressed out of the usual long skirt she normally wore. Today she dons a strapless white and pink top that

"Yunie!" Rikku smiled back at her cousin. "Riku, this is my cousin Yuna. Yunie, this is Riku, my boyfriend. And wow, Yunie, you look great today!" She smirked. Maybe Yunie was seeing someone?

Riku smiled confidently, gently disentangling himself from the blond to reach out to offer his hand to Yuna to shake. "It's nice to meet you. Rikku has told me a bit about you." He cast a glance back to Rikku before looking back to Yuna's mis-matched eyes. "All good."

Laughing at Rikku's compliment, Yuna outstretched her hand towards her cousin’s boyfriend and gave him a gentle handshake. “It’s great to meet you! Rikku gets all ‘blushy’ every time she takes about you.” She chuckled as she let go of his a hand.
“I am probably going to help out for awhile before I head out towards the borders.”

"Yunie! I do not get all 'blushy'!" protested the blonde, blushing and therefore proving Yuna true. "Why are you heading out that way?"

Riku wisely chose not to comment upon the state of his girlfriend's cheeks.
"What did you have in mind for the fair?"

Yuna smiled at Rikku for a moment, trying to keep her giggles at bay when she saw her cousin blush as brightly as a candy apple.
"Oh? Um! No reason, just want to explore the region a bit." She winked at the blond. "You know? Keeping my eyes open for any boys wearing a red cap." She certainly did mean what she said to Rikku earlier, Yuna really wants to find that boy and bring him back safe and sound...

"Mhm? Well, nothing really! I heard there is going to be a auction of some kind happening soon!" Yuna smiled at Riku. "Might show up there and give them my support!"

Red cap....

"Oh, Yunie, you don't have to go looking for Ness! Seriously, it's really dangerous out there!" protested Rikku. She rested her head on Riku's shoulder. "Riku, tell Yunie not to do something stupid like go out into the Badlands!"

"Why not let me go with you, at least?" Riku reasoned. "Going out alone wouldn't be wise. He wouldn't want you to do that."
He knew Rikku wasn't going to like that answer either, though stopping such an act would be difficult. IT would be better to at least direct the course.
