Content: It's time for the fair!
Setting: The streets of Shashta
Time: About an hour and a half before lunch
Warnings: Probably nothing worse than silliness.
Notes: This'll be another free-for-all thread, but please try to keep to doing one thread for each booth, unless there's a huge time lapse in between. Anyone wandering around the fair doesn't have to stick to booth-threads, of course. The singles auction will be happening during the fair, but it'll get its own log, so look out for that later on!
It was a bright, sunny day in Shashta, which was rather typical for the city. The weather might've been a little hot, but it was still a fine day for the fair. The task of setting up the booths and decorations was nearly complete, leaving the colorful banners and flags that were stretched out between the booths waving in the breeze.
All the commotion from getting things set up had also drawn some attention. Many of the townsfolk already knew that a fair was happening, and some of them had lingered outside stores or by lamp posts to watch the crew of the Winding Way hustle around. What had started out as a handful of spectators soon grew to a crowd, and now that the booths were starting to open more or less officially, there were plenty of people walking by to check them out.
