Good Old 2-D
With all these 3-D movies coming out and with the new Rapunzel movie, Tangled, going to be released soon, I've been thinking about the movies I grew up as a kid, and how much the animation industry has changed. It's such a shame that everything is computer animated these days. Not to say that computer animation doesn't have it's merits. Final Fantasy Advent Children and 9 were both so sexy awesome! But there's just something about the old hand drawn stuff that really impresses me, to know that someone actually had to draw that out on paper and that human hands put it together...
A lot of these new animated movies just don't move me. A lot of them are just silly. They can crap out a new film every few months and you can tell it's just to make a profit...
