Astoria is the picture of the perfect Pureblood girl. She has spent her entire life cultivating as air of gentle sweetness and knows exactly what her place in the world is. She doesn't want to disappoint anyone, and so never really voices her own opinions. She blithely goes along with whatever she thinks the people around her want to hear, and would rather be thought of as stupid than contrary. She is easily used and has little sense of self preservation.

History
Describe 2-3 significant events in your character's life.
Growing up as a Princess
From the day she was born Astoria was taught to be a beautiful ornament. An obedient child, she never spoke unless first addressed by an adult, and never got her clothes dirty. She learned that things that proper Pureblood girls learn, like singing and dancing and proper cosmetic application. She excelled in the gentle arts, and became quite the little cook and baker as well.
When she got a little older she began to push against the sides of her cage. She would occasionally express an opinion that she knew her father disagreed with, or play outside in a white dress. Her punishment for such transgressions was so severe that she quickly learned to never say anything she thought or do anything she wasn't told. She was a beautiful ornament, nothing more.
Astoria knew her place at Hogwarts as well. She studied hard, but never let anyone know she was smart. She had friends, but she wasn't a leader. She knew vaguely that a war was going on, but she also knew it wasn't her place to do anything about it.
Standing up to the Carrows
Astoria had one moment of rebellion. While the Carrows ruled Hogwarts Astoria watched them do unspeakable things to some of the students. It wasn't right, she knew it wasn't right, but everything in her screamed not to get involved. Good Girls never spoke up. But one day she saw Alecto Carrow torturing a poor little first year. Something in her snapped, and she banished the woman's wand. The punishment she received from the Carrows was nothing compared to the punishment she got from her father. She should never have stepped out of line, and she would never do it again.
