In sickness...

Still haven't been feeling well. My stomach has been really bad and I can't seem to get it back on track. I got rid of my water filter a couple weeks ago and my problems seem to correlate with that. I'm wondering if it is just a coincidence or if that's the source of my problem. Time to get a new water filter and find out.

Went to get my Coop poster framed on Saturday. The two girls that work there said they'd been waiting for me to come back. What can I say? They must like me. They're both pretty cool and I like hanging out there while I'm framing stuff. It doesn't feel like a chore. They had to order some stuff that I wanted for the frame/matting, so I have to go back. The owner called me today to verify that I wanted the stuff. Picture a lady in her 50's having to check out a poster of a giant, naked devil-girl. She told me the layout would look "very nice" with my poster. I could tell that she hated looking at the thing...lol. Took it easy the rest of the day Saturday. Watched baseball, took a nap, and watched cartoons and then Pirates of the Caribbean. Good movie. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

Slept late on Sunday. Despite feeling like I was being stabbed in the stomach repeatedly, I got a lot done. Did laundry, dishes, changed the sheets on my bed, and threw out a ton of stuff that I'd been pack-ratting. Still have a lot more to go through, but my place looks a little better. Watched tv and took it easy the rest of the day. It sucked that the Red Sox lost. Wakefield pitched an awesome game. The Family Guy season premiere was awesome. I love that show. I was going to go to the Comedy Connection to see the comic that I had missed by not going to the open mic on Thursday, but didn't feel up to it.

Felt like hell at work today, but stuck it out. Came home and found out that I have a new brother. He's a little Maltese dog named Samson. He's cute, but not much bigger than my foot. Roxy doesn't know what to make of him yet and keeps sniffing him. She's used to small dogs and cats and Samson was raised with big dogs, so they should be ok.

Time for The Ultimate Fighter and then bed.
