Alien eyes problem :(

I have a bit of an issue with my aliens. Basically, their default eyes do not work properly. Any alien I make in Body shop only show the eye swatch that comes with the face texture. Any new alien born in my game only shows that swatch as well. The default eyes, either Maxis or custom, do not show up. They do on premades but will switch if I change

Might be odd, but have you tried deleting your cache files? They sometime hold bits of information from old files, and might be effecting the new. Have you removed your saved sim and lots folder too, in case there is somewhere there conflicting too? Removing the PT files, as far as I know, will only corrupt the family trees for sims born from those aliens and I would think it might mess with anybody that was pregnant with from those aliens and hadn't given birth yet.

Thanks for replying. At this point, I've tried pretty much everything short of reinstalling the game and I'm just convinced my game at this point is borked when it comes to these alien eyes. :(

Removing Fwiffo's Multi PT hack didn't seem to affect Pascal Curious' baby's family tree as far as I've noticed. It's all just the superficial where it's broken. :p

New user files? Redownloaded everything involved to make sure your originals aren't corrupted? There's editing the config files too, which is something I've never heard of before, so I'm not sure if it would be your issue. It sounds like it would be if there was nothing showing up, though, so it might not be.

Have you open said baby in simpe? I noticed when I removed an old PT hack as well as the PTs, it screwed with the alien born kids in simpe. I got rid of that neighborhood, so I don't remember the exact details, but I think certain parts of them were uneditable. :/ However, in game, aside from the missing alien daddy from the family tree, they worked fine.
