Title: Snap Shots
Rating: G
Warnings: Photo happy Silver and Jae?
Disclaimer: I own Silver. I also -actually- own Max and Emmi, my beloved kittens.
A/N: This struck me, and I had to type it out.
Silver loved pictures. The captured memories better than the mind ever could. She had them strewn all over the house, pictures of her and Rain, of the other couples in the house. A picture of her making Changmin wear the birthday boy hat was pinned front and center on the fridge, and picture of Rain and Se7en from behind watching the rain was hanging up in the hall way. (Han liked that photo because Se7 was wearing his ‘best ass ever’ pants.) Needless to say their house was a virtual scrap book, between Silver and her camera phone, and Jae with his... candid shots. (Yunho would later say ‘always lock the bathroom door’ was rule number 2, behind ‘knock’.)
For her birthday, Rain found Silver 2 kittens, the one thing she’d been begging him to get for months. Rain was never all that fond of cats, but she’d wanted them and he couldn’t deny his mate a damn thing. He however made on thing very clear. A pat was okay, he’d even pick them up in the need arose, but they weren’t allowed to lay on him. Period, end of story. Most of the time, they abided by his rules. Or so he thought.
Silver had gone down stairs to put Rain’s clothes in the wash when he’d come back from a mission. Gun powder and blood were such a bitch to get out of leather pants, especially if they sat in the laundry basket. Jihoon had gone to take a nap, so she crept into their bedroom to grab her cell and head back down to her office and attempt to do something in peace. When she stepped through the bedroom door, two things were obvious. A) The kittens CLEARY didn’t care about Jihoon’s “rule”, and B) He mate snored like a bear. Max, the male Siamese kitten who was named after her favorite (Don’t tell him that) ‘child’ Changmin, was curled up on his chest. Emmi, the black female, was stretched out across his stomach, clearly enjoying the ridges of her mate’s abs.
Far be it the blond to pass up such a photo op, Silver snapped several quick photos and took off down stairs giggling all the way. Several hours, and copies of that photo, later Silver knew her mate had woken up from his nap.
“SILVER!”

Jae would be forever the king of bathroom shots, but Silver was the queen of sleeping shots. (Rule 3. Just lock every damn door and maybe you’ll be safe.) By month 5, the kittens were allowed to roam most of the house. Changmin, the smart ass tech geek of the house, had developed a unique relationship with the kitten who shared his name. If Silver couldn’t find the kitten, he was either sleeping in a sink, or downstairs with Changmin watching the kid do...whatever it is he does. Max was the shyer of the 2 cats, which made his attachment to Changmin all the more strange. Now, no one was as awesome or as wonderful as his mother, but if worst came to worst, Changmin was the other human he could deal with.
The two of them bonded over their love of food and Silver, and Max loved to sleep on Changmin’s wires under his desk. He also loved to sleep on Changmin. Silver had gone into Changmin’s rooms, looking for the genius so he could fix her computer. Peering cautiously into the room, because Silver had seen many sick things in this house, the blond tried her hardest not to outright coo. Changmin had his desk chair tilted back, his long legs stretched out on the desk. Max was draped across his chest, head snuggled under Changmin’s chin. Silver snapped a quick photo and took off down the hall, phone clutched to her chest.
Changmin would later wail at her about his new computer wallpaper, but Silver figured it was more about her messing with his babies while he was training then the actual photo of him with the cat.
