Dear Brain,
Yes, I understand you are well used to having to wake up at 400 or 430 in the morning, in order to catch that 500 or 530 bus to be into work on time (either 600 or 630, depending), as you do work opening shifts at least 3, if not 4, mornings a week. But? On days when I can actually sleep until 730, or even 8? I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't automatically wake up at 4, then cause me to lay awake for almost two hours before falling asleep again, and even then, only to sleep fitfully until my alarm does finally go off at 745.
And yes. I hit the snooze button a few times. Finally got up around 815/820. I'm now drinking white tea. Which, all right. Is only 10 mg of caffeine. But it's the principle of the thing.
You need to not do that tonight, especially as I am on opening shift tomorrow.
No love,
me
