So my birthday.
My build a bear, Augusten, was elaboratly decked out in Birthday apparel. Also, I received a beautiful necklace from Kay Jewelers. It's a modernized June birthstone in the shape of a heart, surrounded on one side with a silver border with 3 little diamonds. I love it. Then Matt and I had a picnic in Glenn Park. It was eventually rained out...lol but, I like to think it was a little more fun running back to the car in the rain. Spontaneous. Then...Jackie, Mel, Matt, Steve, and I went to Canada. First, we caught something to eat...then caught a cab to the strip club. Which I was very hesitant about...(I hate the very idea that such a place exists, and that it is sorry excuse for men to see and or touch sloppy women who apparently have little to no self respect)...BUT, with that said...It was my birthday and I wanted to hit up the Canadian wonders. So, in a cab we traveled to Mints/Peppermints. Which for all of you who don't know...the men are downstairs...the women upstairs. I went to see the men strippers for a total of like 1.9857 minutes. lol. Went downstairs with Jackie and Melissa...shirtless guy was a..face to face, touchy-feely, creepy pervert. And naked man, was probably old enough to be my Grandfather. So I ran upstairs to atleast admire the women physique. Because women do that...with or without clothes we think..."Oh I have a better one of those.." and maybe even a "Okay so she does have a nice..." And thats what we women do! So, then Jackie thought it would be a brilliant idea to go up to the stage with money....We had consulted with the bartender and he assured us we just had to lay in the middle of the stage with a dollar wherever...and she would just dance over you and take it and that was that. So we decided to live it up...the bartender announced our presence...."Three beeauutiful women have just approached the stage..." which made things entirely awkward. So this strippers doing her thing la la la and she straight up pulls Melissa's shirt up exposing her to the world...and begins touching her in ways we hadn't planned. lol After some drama...and making it known that we hadn't intending on playing *dirty*...She just danced over us...and we booked. Frankly, I'm just glad it hadn't been Jackie or me...Atleast Melissa had something to expose! And we avoided the heavy embarassment haha. Then we went to Rumors and spent the rest of the night there. I had a pretty good time, but I guess Matt was pretty miserable there and he made that known...for most of the night. But, regardless I tried to have a good time and I danced and drank Sex on the Beaches...and all in all it was a pretty great time.
