Chili and Guns!
So Friday afternoon k's mom arrived to visit and help us do some weddingy stuff. We watched Date Movie. It was intensely horrible. Never watch it...
Saturday we went to a chili cookoff with Sam and Nicole and tasted many delicious chilis. We also saw a jalapeno eating contest. Yeehaw! Where would the world be without competitive eating? Afterwards we did some shopping and then watched Broke Back Mountain while k's mom took all the stupid stickers off of our favors... Jerks...
Sunday k and some ladies went up to Neverland Farms and handled more preparation stuff while KAZ and i went to the gun show. It was much the same as it always is... I bought a holster, but nothing else seemed worth the scratch... Hmm... Yes, then feasting at sweet tomatoes and a voyage home. We designed a little card to tie to the favors and then k's mom stayed up all night putting them together and then cleaning everything she could find.
