SO today after enjoying a very funny movie with Kim and Phil, Im off to work. I arrive early, and am immediately less happy than i was half an hour ago. This is the easiest way to tell my story:
Backstory: FOr the last 4 months, ive been worked around 15 extra hours than im supposed to while school was in, and 1-2 extra days a week since school ended ( i need to work only 4 so i cvan build a trailer, and get ready to go to maryland in a week or so). Ive made numerous complaints, and been ignored for the most part by my shitty, hypocritical boss who likes to tell me its ok because "I need the money". I ended up putting almost an extra hour in last week from coming in early and staying late. NO iwasnt paid for it.
today, 356pm, I show up at the mall. I decide to get a cheeseburger. Then i make my way to the security office.
S2(second in command so to speak, a real tool who's always almost 20 minutes late to work): Look at this sweetheart.
Me: Me?
S2: Yea you, what are you doing?
ME: Eating a cheeseburger before work.
S2: are you working?
Me: yea, at 4 o clock
S2: YOu're not even in uniform yet.
Me: yea, its 359, when I clock in at 4, ill get changed. Dont worry.
S2: Kevin (head of security) would have a cat (WTF?) if he saw you. Im surprised im not having a cat right now (again, wtf is a cat?)
Me: Im not worried about kevin. I came in early all last week, stayed late, got no extra pay for it, no one listens to my requests for hour and day regulations. Im gonna eat my cheeseburger. Then Ill clock in.
S2: *gives me a 'youre gonna get it from kevin look' and punches out, because hes the kind of boss whod rather go home than reprimand a rebellious employee.
That made my day better. Work sucks. If i dont get 2/3 days of the 3 day week before i leave for MD (To make up for the 2 days i lost in my "4" day weeks prior to my trip, im quitting on the spot. Ive told everyone this. I expect everyone to hold me to it, but the way I feel right now, I dont think ill need any extra encouragement.
But the rest of my week has been pretty sweet. Trading in the Jeep maybe?
