grace flows down

my dream came true last night, 'cept better. we piled into three cars, and drove about an hour and a half to st. pete beach. on the way, we picked up sean's guitar and PASSIONsongbook at his (verymessybutsocollegy) apartment. me and lindsay trekking up and down the stairs like they were a stairmaster the whole way. on the way we listened to such great music, which i so vocally appreciated. then we stopped at this diner, the cutest little thing you'd ever seen. complete with really shine red and white plastic booths on one side, and they were so comfy. the whole place was so cozy. and all the food was good, the chili cheese fries coming in first. and so we made our way to the sand dunes, and climbed and summer started tumblin down, and then sam and neh were goin crazy doin summer saults, as me and teresa found it more fun to do some booty scootying all the way down. everyone was so light-hearted and freeee! definitely a bonding night. how cheesy? oh well, it was. can't help being sentimental sometimes. so then i stood atop the mountain with my arms spread wide, realizing how beautiful my God was. how this isn't anywhere near how beautiful He is, and i could hear such a strong voice in the wind saying "this is not your home, as beautiful as it is, but enjoy!" it was wonderful. so then me and sean started practicing songs to do worship, as i shined my little cell phone onto the pages in the dark, so he could read and figure out the chords. after a little while, lee Ann and neh came up, and joined in the practice. it was an experience i've never had before, and will truly never forget. singing songs to Jesus on the beach with a guitar. this update is just so i can document the event, and the details and to try and capture my emotions. the best way to put it, is to say that was consumed with God's beauty. and last night will be a night i'll remember forever. worshipping late at night, atop a sand hill. no production, no special effects. that was my favorite part about it, and probably His too.
