LAKELAND, Fla. -- Craig Monroe walked in looking noticeably stronger. Dmitri Young walked in looking noticeably smaller.
It's the other Detroit Tiger arrival from Saturday that you really should be excited about.
"Hey, my English is better this year,'' Carlos Guillen said.
Yep, and the Tigers they should expect a healthy Guillen and Ordonez to pair with Mr. Young to form a potent middle of the lineup. It's their pitching and defense everyone is worried about. Now that their division has done a 180 from terrible to excellent the Tigers will have to look for a wild card berth at best. I doubt they get there. This team probably wins 84 in my estimation--and that will not be a dissapointment.
