What should an interpid young blogger write about? Bode Miller going nowhere fast yet again? That one snowboarder showboating her way to a loss? US women's hockey loses to Sweden? Shani Davis wins gold and sports a White Sox cap? (Quick--what do Shani Davis and Dr. Dre have in common? Being black does not count...)
Mr. Miller is only continuing the great streak of over-hyped Nike athletes that began with Dan and Tom O'Brien, who fell on their respective faces in Atlanta. The snowboarder is causing all male sportswriters over 40 to go into hysterics, which is really a good thing, and Shani Davis: I'm glad you're an African American representing America--now please get over yourself and return to fluffing the pillows of Johnny Wier.
