(no subject)
ok, so it's been a while since i've updated. things have been really good - all feelings of irritation and conflict have sort of subsided. visited oxford last weekend for the first time since my summer there 4 years ago. it was really cool, yet strange, to be back. i saw a fairly good production of hamlet there, starring tom stoppard's son (who was incredible, and very good-looking). last night nick came and visited me, we got dinner at a pub and then he came back with me to my flat and hung out with a bunch of people. it was so great to see him - just to feel in touch with some part of conn. one of my guy friends here wants me to hook nick up with him, hehe. i didn't even know this guy was gay...anyways, classes are going quite well. i really like my 2 acting classes especially. i feel in a really good groove with a nice bunch of friends and with my flatmates. sir derek jacobi came to our school last week for a master class - i found him incredibly inspiring, just when i thought i was losing sight of my unreasonable dream of acting. so we'll see how that pans out. i still miss conn a lot, and all of my friends there, but i'm finally feeling close to people here, so that's comforting. and the excitement that i'm living in london has yet to wear off as well. i'm hoping to do something cool on my day off this week. and i'm hoping next weekend to possibly visit amanda in prague with nick. ok, i feel as though i'm rambling on now. class time...
