I've got a couple pictures I forgot to post here from over the weekend, and a new one from today. :3
So recently I decided I was fed up with trying to eke proper photoshoot daylight out of the one small window in my dollie room during the hour or so that it provided decent light, and went a hunting on Amazon for a cheap light setup.
I bought one for only something like $40, that included a stand for hanging backdrops from, and three light tripods, and two white umbrellas. I bought an extra umbrella and some backdrop clamps as well. I also went searching for backdrops from eBay that were scaled to dollie size.
I found tons of backdrops, mostly from China, and most had horrible shipping costs, but I picked one out, and it finally came in today! Now I want more, but I've gotta wait until I have a little more money. Mostly I'm just glad I don't have to take pictures against my plain wall anymore. XD;
These first two pictures I took with the new lighting system which provides a decent amount of light, and pretty good coverage. I probably need to adjust the light positions more, as I wasn't entirely pleased with the light in Sugar's eyes (I lightened them some in photoshop) but I figure that'll just take some working out. Maybe I'll buy brighter lightbulbs, I dunno. :B

Hee, I wanted a broken-down room type of backdrop, and this one worked out nicely! Next I might get a pretty window one or something I can put my dollie couch in front of. Maybe a fancy library or something.
You can tell I didn't iron the backdrop after it'd been in a package for a couple weeks, but it's not too bad. If it doesn't de-wrinkle itself after hanging there for a few days, I'll either get out my iron or just hang it in the bathroom and steam it. :U
So overall, I'm looking forward to taking pictures at all hours of the day now, instead of just the short time I get good lighting from outside! Now I just gotta unlazy myself and actually do it. XB I'll try! :D
