So, I was sorting through my Miami pictures, selecting which ones I wanted to edit from the 200+ I took, and then I decided I wanted to take a couple dollie pictures.
Unfortunately, I seem to have a problem with my macro lens (which is also my only lens at the moment). :( I think the AF motor stopped working, or is malfunctioning or something. T_T It won't autofocus at all, and the manual focus is clunky now, and seems to have little catches in it's flow, making it hard to just use MF for everything.
I'm thinking of trying to send it in for repair, but honestly, I don't really have the money to do it right now. My job barely covers my bills, and I haven't been able to spend extra money for quite some time now. So sad! Also, I'm not even sure if fixing it would be worth it, or if I should just save up for a new lens. I've only had this one a little less than two years, and I like it a lot, but it's just bumming me out that I can't even use it at the moment. Ugh.
Anyways, I did manage to take a couple photos, but not all that I wanted to. I had planned on taking a few couple shots too, you see. Instead, all I have are two pics of a very pretty boy we haven't seen in a while.
Who is that hiding behind one of my Miami souvenirs? O:
Why hello, pretty Ichi. I sure missed you! ♥
Aww, he's so pretty, and looks like he should be surrounded by peacock feathers, doesn't he? Too bad I only got the one, alas!
I got Fall all re-dressed to take pictures with his Ichi too, but I'm totally too frustrated with my lens not working correctly to try taking couples pics right now. :( I use autofocus a lot, since I'm often holding the doll/dolls in place or holding an arm in a position or something with one hand, and taking the picture with the other. Can't really do that right now, though, and the way the lens catches when I try to manual focus doesn't help me get the shots clear, either. *sob* Man, I hate being poor. /pity party
Anyways, I'm gonna go listen to audiobooks or something. Bye bye!
