Photos from Saturday at the gardens.
Before we left the house, Nomiki pouts, but is ready to go.
That naughty Nomi sure likes climbing up on high things! This was several feet off the ground. >_<;
Nomiki stakes his claim on a little tree-cave.
Oh no, an intruder at the cave entrance! This is Aki, aeryn_aerie's new boy. :3
Nomi pouts now that his hideaway has been comprimised. :'(
Death-glare isn't getting Aki to move. :'(

The snake swam over to the lily pads and hung out there for a while. :B

While we were playing dollies, the snakey tried to sneak up on us! O: See the little snakey face just to the left of the ferns?
Shortly after the snake decided to come up on the rocks near the gazebo we were sitting in, we decided we should probably move on. XD;
Daffodils! No snakes in there! O:
Nomiki was smelling the pretty flowers. :3
Nomi grudgingly decides he can tolerate Aki, as long as he doesn't talk to him. XD;

It's a dollie tree! Aki's a bit of a wimp I think, so he didn't want to climb too high. Nomiki, on the other hand, is a little daredevil. O:

Phew, climbing trees and being grumpy sure is tiring work! O:
So yeah, it was a fun day at the gardens. :3 We actually saw a total of three snakes, but I only took pictures of two of them, and the pics I took of the one we saw curled up in a tree didn't come out well. I didn't have my zoom lens with me, only my 50mm lens, so I couldn't really get a good focus on him, since he was so far away. :'< Oh well. The third snake we saw was swimming around in another pond, and he was covered with duckweed, it was pretty funny. XD; Snakes are so cute! ^^
Ugh, I think it's lunchtime. I am hungry! O:
