Working on the beach isn't for everyone. Everyone thinks they want to work on the beach in Hawaii. I don't want to make it sound dangerous, however, the beach is where most people get territorial. That goes for business surf and girls. With a serious history of nieve Hawaiian trusting outsiders and outsiders taking advantage and exploiting this trait, it makes sense that locals are very defensive. They don't want anyone to take away from their business r steal their waves or their chicks. Now u may think that defensive behavior like this is universal, when this happens in Hawaii it's an entirely different issue. Living in the island/ small community u cannot just yell at people and get pissed or fight. The island is a tight network, u better not be punching someone's brother/ cousin/ uncle or fucking someones sister/niece etc. odds are u probably are haha. Just assume that everyone knows ur enemies and fuck buddies haha.
