Today I went to Malmö. Partly because my new optician had said that she had more round frames to choose from in her shop there, and partly to go to Scandinavian Photo to get help choosing a new digicam.
When I got to the optician, it turned out they didn't have more round frames there at all, hardly any, in fact. And when I got to the photo shop, the sales guy told me that the best one was the Canon Powershot S95, but he could't show me any of the functions because the battery was dead. When I said that it was a bit pricey for my purse, he didn't really have any other suggestions, and they had very few compact digicams on the shelf to look at. He did mention the Panasonic Lumix DMC LX3 (an outgoing model, so not that expensive), but it wasn't even on the shelf, and in the end he just printed out the info from their homepage and handed it to me. Maybe they couldn't be bothered with me because I didn't want a big fancy expensive camera? I don't know. But I don't feel any wiser at all when it comes to choosing a new camera.
