ME: I know you can get your food out of the ball. I've seen you do it.
CAT: But feeding time is a bonding experience! It's when cats and humans define their relationship and their sense of worth and status with respect to each other!
ME: Er... yes. Still. At six in the morning?
CAT: If I let you give me a cuddle, will you feed me in the proper manner?
