I don't yet know so much about "historical socks", would these be ok for some historical dress?

Not exactly, I don't think, but they are certainly inspired by 18th/19th century socks. (Noa Noa do a lot of historically/vintage inspired designs.) If you wear an ankle-length gown (i.e. don't show too much of your legs) I think they might be OK!
