Some of my Teen Wolf favourites
Favourite Character - Isaac Lahey:
Picking a favourite Teen Wolf character is actually something I find very hard to do - there are so many awesome characters (Lydia, Stiles, Scott, Chris Argent, Derek, Erica, Melissa, Sheriff Stilinski... I could go on). There's just something about Isaac, though - he's a survivor, he can be funny, he can be vulnerable, he struggles sometimes but still remains loyal. Of course, the fact he's extremely handsome also helps!
Favourite Character Arc - Kanima!Jackson
This was such a well thought-out character arc and it developed Jackson the character so much. I really loved the mystery surrounding the kanima at the beginning, and how we had a sort of 'whodunnit' along the way and then realised it was Jackson. As well as the effect on Jackson, this arc also had all sorts of ripple effects on the other characters - Isaac lost his father, for example - and as a character arc that was a big part of the plot of the whole season, it worked very, very well. All of the different themes it brought out, lots of them relating to Jackson himself, were super interesting - ideas of control, identity, responsibility - and the way the progression of the story managed to portray Jackson in a sympathetic light was spot on.
Favourite OTP or BRO-OTP - Scott and Stiles
Scott and Stiles are my absolute, all-time favourite BRO-OTP in Teen Wolf - they've been there for each other right from the beginning of the series and, really, their friendship is one of the core elements of the show. What I love about this particular BRO-OTP is that I can really, honestly believe in their friendship - they make fun of each other, have moments where they annoy each other, but no matter what they know each other in the way best friends - brothers - do and they always have each other's backs. There are so many brilliant Scot and Stiles BRO-OTP moments - from the early days of getting into trouble with each other, to Stiles saving Scott in Motel California, to Scott's worry and support for Stiles during the nogitsune arc. It really is a friendship I can invest in.
Favourite Villain - Peter Hale
I just love the sass!
Favourite Episode - Night School
It's just so full of tropes and awesome moments and I love Scott's little howl and Lydia being super smart. I remember feeling so tense the first time I watched the episode - and I love that feeling, of not knowing what's going to happen and genuinely being really worried for the characters.
