That Obligatory Introductory Post
So I guess I’ll kick this off by saying that I’ve never liked livejournal. I’ve never “gotten” it. I’ve encountered it from time to time through fanfiction searches or TV reviews or other various articles, and more or less decided it was a confusing mess due to its strictly linear organization (I want to see the next chapter, not two weeks’ worth of all the random crap you posted in between!) And no matter how people tried to convince me that it really makes perfect sense ‘cause of TAGS! I’ve always thought it was pretty much a bafflingly useless, disorganized corner of webspace.
And here I am.
Thing is, I like to ramble. To create lists, blogs, reviews and other pieces of random nonsense that until now have ended up wasting away on scraps of loose-leaf or dusty Word documents. Since they exist anyway, and I’m never gonna stop making them, I figure I might as well put them up somewhere for other people to see. And… apparently livejournal is the place to go to do that.
I still don’t understand the first thing about this site, about tags, organization, customization, or how anyone in the web-o-sphere will ever manage to happen across anything I’m writing, but it’ll be out there if you want it.
