After class this morning, I spent two hours in line to vote (as compared to Brie's 2.5). One of the voting inspectors informed an older gentleman the longest line was for his district. He then prepared to pack up and head home, saying, "I ain't waiting in no line." Several people chimed in to convince him this was not a good choice. However, I ( Read more... )

Where did you have to vote? I got in and out of my polling place in 10 minutes.

I had to vote in Davison since I didn't get my address changed in time to register to vote in Flint. Sounds like I made a good choice!

Voted at the Sarvis Center.

The population of my district is probably comparable to Davison (okay, that's probably overstating it), but it's a very active. I'm glad to see such high turnout.

I would have had to go vote at City Hall had I gotten my address changed in time. Too bad, maybe I would have gotten a chance to meet the Don...

i love the tootsie roll story!

we were there about half an hour, maybe? but part of that was waiting outside b/c we got there before the polls opened.
