After class this morning, I spent two hours in line to vote (as compared to Brie's 2.5). One of the voting inspectors informed an older gentleman the longest line was for his district. He then prepared to pack up and head home, saying, "I ain't waiting in no line." Several people chimed in to convince him this was not a good choice. However, I was ushered along just then and was unable to discover the outcome of that scene.
On my walk home, I stopped to watch a squirrel eat a Tootsie Roll while sitting up on a broken tree limb. He was carefully removing the wrapper, bits at a time, with his teeth, then munching happily away on the chewy goodness inside.
That's been my day, thus far.
