Remember that it's high summer at the South Pole, just past the longest day of the year.
The Chinese icebreaker Xue Long, or Snow Dragon, was just six nautical miles away from the rescue, but now it’s stuck in an Antarctica ice floe, too.
Ouch. Like they said in the article, it just goes to show that some lands will never be tamed. But that's not the funny part...
