I just realized how much I love this song
Ok, so I'm back from FITS. After a couple weeks of being sad that Sam wasn't going, he decided to go the day that we left! And I was right to want him to come because I spent most of my time with him and he made me happy. I love that kid and now I am caught up on books and movies and such, so we can have good conversations.
I am actually a bit disappointed that living with Tara wasn't a complete disaster. I just expect it after living with her on many other trips and it gives me a good laugh when I trip over her suitcase walking in the door and nearly miss the tv with my head. The only funny things she did were blocking the doorway with her suitcase and starting a laundry pile...in Caroline's suitcase. XD
She also managed to use ALL of the towels even though they left 6 towels for 3 people.
I had to spend most of my money of food though because our food this year was provided by McDonalds. I wouldn't eat that and I can't even physically handle it. I shared a thing of fries with Julie and we were so sick all day. we ate a lot of white pizza, hoared apples and salads, and bough bananas and water.
I felt bad because I have 2 things of my sunscreen at home, but I coudln't find either before I left, so I just took normal sunscreen. I was outside every day, with tons of spf 30 sunscreen on and I could feel myself getting more and more burnt every day. But I coudln't find anyone with a higher spf, so I just got really burnt. Another really weird thing happened to me. I got some sand on the back of my legs from walking on the beach and then I went on the boardwalk and went back to my room to sit down. After sitting down for about 15 minutes, I realized that my leg hurt. So I got wiped all the extra sand off my leg and took a shower. Ever since I have had this really painful, ugly looking rash that I'm just going to call sandburn. It feels like really bad rug burn. It's really weird.
So Rachel helped me with this layout and gave it to me after I freaked out about how much I love Beauty and the Beast. I really do. I am so jazzed because I have wanted the DVD for ages, but they don't sell it any more and I couldn't find it on Ebay. But today I found the most obvious solution that I just didn't think of and I bought it used of Amazon, which is good because I use Amazon ALL the time. I also bought Utopia for $3.40 and I've been wanting to read that for like 3 years now.
I am so pissed off about summer reading because I don't like the books. However, I LOVE books. I don't read difficult books during the school year because I can never just sit down and read them. I always read something easy and relaxing before bed. Summer is a great time to read, but I have to get through these 4 books before I can read the Fountainhead and Great Expectations. I spend a lot more time thinking about reading and talking about books and looking at looks than I actually do reading and finishing books.
