Dixie Chicks
Is anyone else strangely disturbed by the Dixie Chicks new video "I'm not ready to make nice"? I am not sure what about the video gets to me but it does. It makes me feel like I need to shower to get all of the dirt off of me. I guess I really like the video. I think it does this great job of capturing the essence of being angry and unable to move on even if everyone around you thinks thats the rational response. That sense of feeling crazed and dirty but just not being able to do anything about it. I think that everyone has those periods in their life where they are justifiably irrational but people around them think they should be rational. It is a tear your hair out experience and the video really captures that.
