My ideal canon until proven otherwise. Great characterization, perfect angst and development, and super canon-compatible. A truly enjoyable read, with classy smut and (mostly) believable dialogue. I honestly haven't read much Royai, but this is one of those cases where you've found such great fic on your first try (or a great fic author, seriously check out the companion fic, Timeline, or this little beauty, Slip) that you're too afraid to go in search of more. :X
