a fool i was:
a feeling i had,
a love,
a passion,
a hope -
i couldn't sleep.

a fool i've been:
apathy,
worry,
detatchment,
fear -
i needed sleep.

time to change this.

time to change everything.

there is a light,
and it's out there.

not in here,
it's not me,
but it's there.

i know,
because i saw it,
because it saw me.

it never went away-
i was wrong,
i just had my eyes closed,
that's all.

that's all,
all along.

fires in eyes -
a fire meets ice.

ice entire,
it drips to water,
the water to muck.
