Today was an interesting day, for a variety of reasons I suppose. I was whoken up early this morning by the phone call that I posted about earlier. After that I got online for a little while and than I wasn't feeling well so I went and laid down and the next thing I know it's like 2:30. I had to call Mari and I really wanted to talk to her. So I called and it was busy. I thought "I'll just lay down and call again in a few more minutes." When I opened my eyes again, it was 4:10. I am so pissed at myself for that. I missed time I could have talked to her and I hate that.
After that, I went to my aunt's to feed her animals, as I do everyday. My distant cousins, Jessica and Chance, happened to be down there. I last saw Jessica when she was like 2 and she's like 10 now. I don't even think I've ever met Chance before. He was about 7 or 8 I guess. He tripped me out. He was totally interested in my leg, but he was cool about it. Not like annoying kids can be about it, he was shy to ask and he was respectful about it. We talked for awhile, he asked the kinda questions kids would ask: "Do you like cats? Dogs?" "what's your favorite color?", etc.
He said he had a odd name, I told him that I did too and than I remembered his uncle is also named Garland lol. He said "People say my name all the time, like 'You have a chance today Chance'" lol! He was a trip. Than he talked about horses having babies. He was saying that they had to stick their hands up the horses "butts" and alot of their "bathroom stuff" came out when they did lol. I started laughing and he was like "well it does!" He was a cool little dude.
My grandpa stopped by too. He was in WWII and trust me, he'll tell you ALL about it. It's interesting though, he'll tell you the kinda things you can't just read in a history book. He knows the real deal too, he's sharp as a tack, even though he let's just loyality to the republician party blind him sometimes. He's 88 years old, been throughm a world war, several serious injuries and he still gets around. I think alot of him. He's really an amazing person.
