Epilogue
“Satoshi! I need your help!” Nino called from his room where he was busying himself in packing all his stuff. He had finished most of them but there was still some heaving suitcases he had to bring downstairs.
“Hai, hai,” Ohno grinned when his Dad waved him as if he told him to go, and he stepped upstairs to check Nino’s room.
“Bring this down for me,” Nino ordered with a grin when he saw Ohno entered his room, and Ohno just happily obliged. Nino was collecting some more of his cards and video game taps, so Ohno brought Nino’s suitcase downstairs first.
“Is everything done?” His mom asked with a smile when he saw Ohno “I don’t think he has too many things.”
“Yeah, definitely, this is the last one.” Ohno chuckled.

They were moving out. Ohno had had a really good offer in Tokyo after six months staying at home, and Nino had just graduated from college a month ago. They didn’t want to turn down Ohno’s offer so Nino decided that he would come to Tokyo with Ohno, and he would find a job there later. They could even live together - like, really live together because this time their parents wouldn’t be around anymore. And they had been preparing for this for months already.
When he first announced this to their parents, his mom just nodded happily when his Dad rolled his eyes as if he was bothered by something.
“You are not going to do anything to him,” His Dad warned. And Ohno’s face reddened involuntarily. It wasn’t like he was planning on doing anything to Nino, but the thoughts somehow just kept creeping into his mind every day, and it was quite embarrassing that he didn’t dare to admit it. “At least, you know, at least wait for... well, a wedding or something.”
“Dad!” Nino complained when he heard that. He was sitting beside Ohno, his back leaned to the wall while he was again playing with his game, he had left the announcement to Ohno and he thought he could just chirp in when he wanted to. “We’re both adults already!! It’s not like we need to have that stupid wedding thing to have s...”
But before Nino could finish his words Ohno had already had his hand for covering Nino’s mouth to stop him from saying anything else. This shouldn’t have become a reason for them to be banned to go to Tokyo together, Ohno thought.
So he grinned at their parents reassuringly.
“We’re not going to do anything stupid,” He said, and Nino rolled his eyes at Ohno. Apparently, Nino was expecting something and that thought made Ohno’s already red face redder. But of course they couldn’t let their parents know about it (though Ohno assumed that they already knew, after all).
Their mom just laughed at Ohno’s expression and their Dad could only shook his head, but they were both smiling.
“Where are you going to stay?” His Dad asked, and Ohno smiled.
“My friend has shown me an apartment in Tokyo, it’s really near the Art museum where I’m going to work.”
“That sounds great,” Mom commented, and Nino chirped in gleefully.
“I have applied for the job in the Game center,” Nino grinned “And it’s close to the apartment, too.”
“That’s so great,” Dad repeated Mom’s word as he patted Ohno on his shoulder “My sons are really grown up, huh.”
“Of course we are,” Nino giggled. He put aside his DS and straightened his posture when he talked a little more serious “And saying about this... You will have to take care of mom when we leave, Dad.”
“Of course I will,” Dad rolled his eyes at Nino “Who do you think I am?”
“Her husband,” Nino shrugged, and he saw Mom grinning beside Dad. This was great. This was how he wanted a family to be, with everyone smiling and happiness was everywhere in the air that they could almost touch it.
And after all the misery, they now had the happiness they deserved.
“Hey! I think it’s late already,” Dad called from the threshold “Hurry up or you will be late for the train!”
“Hai!!” Nino rushed down from his room. Nino grinned as he saw Ohno had Nino’s bags on his shoulder, their suitcases on both Ohno’s hands. He came and hugged his mom tightly again.
“Please take care ne,” He said to Mom and Mom hugged him back just as tight.
“You too.” His mom’s voice sounded teary. But she was smiling when she said “Call me when you two arrive.”
“Hai,” Nino kissed his Mom on her cheeks last time and then he turned to Ohno.
“Let’s go.”
And with a bright smile, Ohno nodded.

“Ahh,” Nino jumped onto the bed with a satisfy smile. “This is so great.”
They had finally arrived at their apartment - the one Ohno had mentioned before. One of Ohno’s friends had lend them this one with a cheap price and Ohno was so thankful about that. He put all of the luggage down and looked around.
We would be happy staying here together, Ohno thought with a small smile on his face.
Nino was still lying on the bed and he took out his DS, started to play game. But when Ohno sat down beside him, Nino almost immediately crawled onto Ohno’s lap and stayed there, satisfied.
“I thought you were tired after a long ride,” Ohno commented, he patted Nino’s head gently. “As much as I want to be your pillow, I have to unpack our stuff, you know.”
“You can do that later,” Nino grinned. He took a furtive look at Ohno before his focus returned to his DS. Ohno grunted disapprovingly, and after a minute of hesitance he took Nino’s DS away from his hand.
“Oi!” Nino protested immediately when his DS was taken. However, when he saw Ohno leaned down to him, Ohno’s eyes somehow darkened in a way that made him shiver, he stopped talking altogether. He also forgot about his game and his protest, all he could think of now was Ohno, so close to him, and no one else was here, and they were supposed to live together from now on...
And before Ohno could lean any closer, Nino pushed him away with his cheeks reddened visibly.
“Hey!” Ohno groaned as Nino rolled away from his lap. Nino tried to calm his heart down but in vain, because it seemed like his heart had been totally out of control, and it was breaking Nino’s ribcage painfully.
Nino did think about it before, but when it actually happened... he just felt like all his courage had run away from him and left him there, totally weak in front of Ohno, with his heart beating like crazy inside his chest.
Ohno sat at his spot, looked at Nino gently, lovingly. And just by looking at those eyes Nino knew that he would give this man everything of himself, everything that Ohno wanted. He slowly caught his breath, tried to calm himself down - this wasn’t the first time Ohno was this close to him, but because the aura was different, Nino was still so nervous that he had to close his eyes and took a deep breath.
When Nino opened his eyes again, there was Ohno still smiling at him and waiting for him.
So Nino’s arms automatically reached out and pulled Ohno closer into a hug. Ohno wrapped his arms around Nino’s slim body and tightened his hold. This moment was pure happiness - Nino realized - he could always feel peaceful in Ohno’s embrace.
And Ohno pulled away first, he was looking at Nino with that same eyes - loving, but also darkened with undeniable desire. Nino shivered again - not that he didn’t like it, but it was...
Before Nino could think of anything, with a swift movement Ohno already had Nino under him - Nino’s face reddened and Nino was biting his lips in embarrassment. Nino was so attractive that Ohno had to lean down and caught his lips.
It was a long and slow and gentle kiss, like they had all the time in this world and they wanted to enjoy every single thing. Nino had his arms around Ohno’s neck by the time they parted, and when Ohno’s brain was still not functioning properly after the kiss, Nino grinned again.
“You promised to our parents that we won’t do anything stupid,” Nino pouted and pinched Ohno’s cheeks.
Ohno grinned mischievously when he leaned down again.
“This is not stupid,” He said when he kissed Nino’s jaw eagerly, his hand already unbuttoned Nino’s shirt as the other roamed on Nino’s skin hungrily.
“So this is not counted, right?” Nino’s breath fastened as Ohno kissed his ears gently, then he moved down to kiss Nino’s throat in slow and soft movements.
“Absolutely.” Ohno grinned.
