...he does have his uses.

The boy is doing well, certainly better than is helpful given the current situation. Our long term strategy is reasonably secure, but a short term boost to keep us in the public's good books would not be unwelcome.

...and of course, a scattershot approach to divert media attention elsewhere can be very effective.

Other than the minor amusement of dispatching the unfounded criticisms of a few unwise Tories, today has been rather tedious. Distracted myself by watching the cricket. It's surprisingly amusing when one takes a more active role in determining the outcome of the match.

All in all an excellent and informative week with some significant labour victories and the prospect of more to come.

Progress on The Machine: sucessfully uninstalled previous system.  Considering switch to germanic rune set; elder futhark rather unwieldy.

Been rather busy recently, just enough time to do a brief interview with the FT.

I've also stumbled across a charming worrying deeply disturbing interesting little thing called the lolitics meme. It possibly bears further investigation, not least for the novel perceptions of several parlimentary colleagues.
