Futile..
It's futile to even try to accomplish more homework. I'm exhausted and all I really want to do is sleep until noon tomorrow. Okay, a little too much sleep for my liking, but the way I've been sleeping lately, it would make the most sense.
Season finales galore this week. Of course most feel like they're rushed due to the Writer's Strike. For instance, both Desperate Housewives and Gossip Girl felt somewhat rushed. The whole 5 years later thing for DH made me want the next season. Gabby with KIDS?! You have got to be joking.. and those kids were anything but cute. Ugly kids. That was mean. Oh well. But mostly, Susan was definitely with another guy. Mike and Susan were kind of.. well as much as I rooted for them, it just didn't seem like it would last forever. My opinion! And it's nice to see Bree and Orson back together. They were the couple that was just supposed to be.
GG.. somewhat rushed and the finale wasn't as grand as I expected it to be. It was nice to see the short C and B hookup. That's how it's supposed to be, but when C said "I'm Chuck Bass" at the end, it made me smile. Oh the old C will never be gone! N and V were never supposed to last of course. That just didn't make any sense. Blair will probably end up hooking up with that guy. Hey, he was cute, WHY NOT?! I am saddened by the fact that S and D are over, but in real life they're together (Penn and Blake.. and there's PROOF!!). I guess that works too. I think now they're going by the book.. the whole S and N thing and how they never got over each other. N and V are always supposed to be together (even when D went gay for a little). Secretly I was hoping that Lily would run off the alter to Rufus, but my true self knew that that wasn't going to happen. Sigh.. that would be nice if it did. They so aren't over each other. J working with B's mom? Who knows how that is going to go. Everything seems somewhat back to normal... but what's normal anyway? Can't wait until the next season. DVD out August 9 (?)!
Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy (2 hours!) finale tomorrow!! Can't wait!
