(no subject)
OK, it's 3:40 AM and I'm still up because I was watching the Brazillian Volleyball team, just like I did two nights ago. But this time they LOST. I cannot believe it! And they lost because Russia played BETTER - the first set and the first half of the second set Brazil wasn't better; Russia wasn't serving at it shoudl be - they had like 13 straight serve misses in the first set, and 16 in the second set, but they changed their tactis, started to rely on their blocks, and won. Brazil, on the other hand, had problems in the attack and in the defense. And nothing seemed to make it better, not even with players changes! I'm SO afraid we won't make it to the semifinals - sure, we will end this round in 2nd, but if we face USA next...I don't know. GAH! I know they can play better, what's happening with them!? They lost the World League, now this? They can't rely on theirs oponents's mistakes to win! *fuming because it's almost 4AM and I'm still awake - and to see Brazil LOSE!
Oh, well, since I'm up, I have to review two movies I saw!
Last week, I saw Mummy 3, and I hated it. Tbe reason? THE FREAKING YETIS! And I miss Rachel Weiss.
And last night - well, actually, since today it's already thursday, the night before - I saw Clone Wars at a premiere. And I hated it, mostly because it's a kids movie. But two things didn't help: I think they overdid on the "the droids are stupid and therefore funny" front, and Jabba's uncle looking like an old drag annoyed me. But I liked the clones, the fights, and even Anakin's interacting with Ashoka - and Obi Wan just proved once more what a manipulative bastard he is! And I love him for that, LOL! XD At least it was nice seeing old friends from CJRJ that I haven't met in a long while!
Ok, gotta try to sleep at least for a couple of hours before I go to work. *sigh*
