I feel doomed. My piece is overlong, unwieldy, uncomfortable, and about how I like to punch the people I'm dating in the face. Nobody is going to want to reward me for that.

I have finals, though, so it's not so bad if I lose. *sits there failing to study for my finals*

Though poor Jozhik probably would have laughed, his sense of gallows humor is even blacker than mine. We're still okay friends, I was thinking about linking it to him, but for some mysterious reason I'm just not in the mood to have an emotional talk about our pasts.

Sounds like the potential for a _lot_ of emotion in that talk. I don't blame you. A lot of emotion and probably not really the kind of thing that you ever really get closure from.

I thought your entry was a heck of a critical hit. I think I would have voted for it as a gatekeeper.

I can't speak to going home or not - shit, 25-35% of us are getting axed in a couple hours. But you told the truth, and it takes a lot of strength to tell the whole truth, not just the pretty bits. I think you should be proud of your entry (and your writing in general). It may be the most potent thing I've read all season.
